Gamboa Rain Forest and Casco Viejo

Getting towards the end of our visit, we went ahead and splurged on a five star hotel located in the Gamboa Rain Forest.  It was nice but yes, it was full of Americans and not our idea of the true Panama even though we were surrounded by Rain Forest and saw many animals there.

Next a trip to Casco Viejo

This is an older part of Panama
These building were build in the late 1800's early 1900's
People still live there in the old buildings

Americans are buying up the old structures and
renovating them.
